Hi, I'm Courtney.
Photography isn't just my profession. It's the thing I've loved since high school.
I believe a good photo is about more than the moment. It's the connection between the person and the lens. I'm good at making people comfortable, in front of a camera or in a crowded room, and my job is to turn my clients' stories into images that feel like them.
My promise
For over fifteen years I've photographed hospitals, law firms, nonprofits, wineries, small businesses, and individuals. Being photographed can feel vulnerable, so I make the process easy, and even fun. I'll guide you through every step so you feel confident the whole way and come out with photos you love.

My first time in the darkroom was transformative. I was mesmerized by the slow, gratifying process of making an image appear in the chemicals. It felt like magic, and I was hooked.
I've worked at and managed three different studios, coordinating and running hundreds, if not thousands, of shoots. Our work together will most likely be digital, but I've never stopped approaching it the way film demands: being intentional every step of the way and getting it right the first time. I look forward to working with you!
